Update Kroc

The locker rooms are awesome.  Showers abound.  The pool is nice and swimmers are getting a great workout.  I think it was a very good move to add the Kroc Center to our Masters practice times.  The next step is to get more people to signup for our program.  If you have any suggestions on how we can promote our program, then please send me an e-mail!

Final Quarter

The final quarter has arrived; October, November, December.  The fee is $40 per month or $100 per quarter.  Please pay by the 20^th of the month.

Oct 18 swim meet

A Masters meet will be held on Saturday, October 18 at 9 am (warm ups at 8 am).  You do not need to be a High School/ College alumni to participate.  Masters meets are similar to our practices – accepting of all abilities.  If you like to be around other fitness minded people, then give this a strong consideration (competitive triathletes should strongly consider this event)!  Check out the attachment for sign up details.

Going Holiday Green

The UNO Swim/ Dive team conducts a fund raiser – Holiday Wreaths.  If you liked the holiday wreaths offered last year, we have them again this year.  They are great for adding the holiday spirit to your home or it makes a nice present for family or office staff.  Orders will be taken until November 5 and will be delivered the first week of  December.  If you are interested in ordering, e-mail <tsamland@unomaha.edu> or call/text (402-250-1769) or let me know at practice. The Omaha Masters Shirt Shop

Imagine going to a swim meet … with no team shirt.  Or what if you were invited to a party with the theme of Sport your Favorite Team … but all you have is Husker stuff just like everyone else.  Well you are just in luck because we have some apparel just for you – Omaha Masters Swim Club!  A limited stock is available with t-shirts going for $15, jackets going for $40, and baseball hats going for $10.  This is what is in stock: Jackets – dark grey ladies extra small, white ladies medium, athletic heather large; t-shirts – pink small & medium, green large, gold large, dark brown medium, white large, athletic heather medium, large, extra large, and 2x large; ball capskhaki cap with weathered blue bill or weathered red bill.
