We will not have practice on Friday or Saturday (April 6 &
7), to honor the request of College of St. Mary as they recognize the holy weekend of Good Friday & Easter.
If doing three things instead of one thing is more your cup of tea, then go participate in a mini
triathlon at UNOmaha. It is a 200 yard swim, 3.1 mile bike and 1.2 mile walk/run – it is called the
UNO Try-athlon because it is meant to be fun and encouraging people to get out & into fitness! It is
being held on Sunday, April 29.
This Wednesday (April 4) will be the final Wednesday for Amber Sky to cover that time slot.
She’s giving back the spot because she is close to her delivery date. Thank you Amber Sky
for doing a super job of coaching our program!
Speaking of Deliveries
to Steph (and Kristopher) Philipson with the arrival of her new son Wyatt (February 10). As mentioned above
Amber Sky (and Matt) Green is expecting to have the baby sometime soon. Future deliveries Beth (and Todd)
Pirnie and Katie (Mark) Smith are expecting new additions to their families in the near future.
Marian Phipps will be participating in the Boston Marathon this upcoming April 16 – run fast. Mike
McKamy will be starting up a new swim school in the near future – good luck in teaching those future Masters swimmers
CSM is busy building and improving the campus. Because of the building project some parking spaces
for the students have been gobbled up, and now the students have to park in front of the Lied Center. If
the parking lot is completely full then go all the way down to the bottom between the soccer field fence and the parking lot
island cap – you can park behind me. If you have questions please ask, I want you to swim!
The first quarter has just zoomed
by. It is time to pay for the second quarter (April, May, and June).
